Carl D. Perkins Grant
Carl D. Perkins is a Federal Grant awarded to institutions of higher learning and administered by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

The purpose of the Perkins Act is to develop more fully the academic, vocational, and technical skills of secondary and post-secondary students who elect to enroll in Technical Education Programs.

The grant provides assistance to students of technical programs by helping them overcome obstacles that may block their success or completion of education.
