To receive Financial Aid, you must:
Have documented financial need. Applicants begin this process by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Have a high school diploma or a General Education Development ( GED ) Certificate, or pass a test approved by the U.S. Department of Education ( Ability to Benefit ).

Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student working toward a degree or certificate in eligible program.
Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
Have a valid Social Security Number.
Make satisfactory academic progress.
Meet Selective Service requirements as specified by federal regulations.
Not be in default of a state or federal loan.
Not engage in the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance during the period covered by federal student aid.
Not receive financial aid at two schools during the same semester.
All transcripts from previously attended colleges and universities must be evaluated for transfer credit before any federal titile IV aid can be awarded and/or credited to a students account.
